Today’s rapidly changing world of application development has made the adoption of HTTP/REST-style API calls the de-facto standard for accessing Microservices and Web Services from mobile and other applications. Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) allows us to expose our Oracle database tables, views, and stored PL/SQL as RESTful web services so that they may be accessed using industry-standard HTTP/REST-style API calls.
