HOL Title:Oracle Database In-Memory
HOL Abstract:This HOL Session will guide you through the basic configuration of the In-Memory column store (IM column store) as well as illustrating the benefits of its key features:
- In-Memory Column Store Tables
- In-Memory Joins and Aggregation
- In-Memory Transaction Manager
Preparation (Must be done before Lab):
In order to exercise this lab in the two hour time slot, there are pre-lab set up steps that must be performed.
Software Prerequisites:
Ensure your host computer meets the requirements for running the virtual machine.
Download and install VirtualBox and VirtualBox Extension Pack from following link – which is a cross-platform virtualization application
