Oracle Cost Based Optimizer has evolved since its inception. While there are many enhancements to the Optimiser, it still requires critical inputs from the Database Administrators and Developers. This session will start with the basics before getting into some of the internal workings for the Optimiser. The learnings from this session will provide the technical folks with enough information to get best out of the Optimizer.
